Hi there! Thanks for stopping by.

My name is Jessica Padover and I'm an LA-based photographer specializing in music, event, and lifestyle shoots.

People often ask me what got me into photography, but to tell you the truth, there isn't one tale-telling moment -- it's always been a part of my life. When I was seven years old, I was stealing my parents' point-and-shoot camera to take photos on our family trips. I found that visual storytelling was much more interesting to me than what any tour guide had to say.

My love for the medium led me on a search for summer programs where I could advance my art. During middle school, I took the same photography class for three consecutive summers at Stanford University. Even with the exact same curriculum, I still learned something new each year.

The skills I gained during these courses gave me the opportunity to travel to Tanzania with National Geographic Student Expeditions, where I shadowed Andrew Evans, a noted National Geographic photographer. I definitely caught the travel bug after this trip, so the next summer, I worked as a photography intern for the travel organization Global Leadership Adventures while abroad in Thailand. These two trips made me realize that any good photograph needs to tell a story.

A couple of years ago, I discovered I could combine my love for concerts with photography. Although seemingly unrelated, attending concerts and meet and greets with my parents was a big part of my childhood, so it was an exciting path for me to take. Photographing artists is especially compelling because I love to capture each artist's unique personality and brand. It forces me to be creative to make the style of the photo fit each artist's specific story. Over the past two years, I've had the opportunity to shoot various musical artists, from G-Eazy to Vance Joy.

I'm always looking for more opportunities to be creative, so let's work together! Shoot me a message via the "Contact" page for booking inquiries. Although I'm based in Los Angeles, I'm available for travel and tour worldwide.

You [can] take your camera and it [will] take you places. It [is] like having a friend, like having someone to go out with and look at the world. I [do] things with a camera I wouldn’t do normally if I was just by myself.
